The latest from HWA-NY members…
HWA-NY represented at StokerCon 2019, with readings, panels, events, Bram Stoker Award nominations, and even a Stoker win! We made the rookie mistake of splitting the party (after the party, but before the after-party) without taking a photo, and thus our group shot will have to be Photoshopped into accuracy by someone with that actual skill set (volunteers?). In the meantime, you can get a taste here, here, here, here, and here. Congratulations to Ellen Datlow for her win (Superior Achievement in an Anthology)! A list of all this year’s award nominees and winners is up on the Bram Stoker Award site. We’re looking forward to seeing you at StokerCon UK in 2020!

N.R. Lambert is thrilled to be a 2019 U.S. National Park Service Artist-in-Residence at Fire Island National Seashore in June, where she hopes to do a bit of outlining, a lot of writing, and very little chasing-folks-through-the-hedge-maze. She also recently sold a story, “The Words I Starved For,” to Fireside Magazine, which will appear in the January 2020 issue, in print and online.
