Oliver Baer and The Skeleton Rep invite one and all to celebrate the release of Baer’s new book, Letters to the Editor of Cthulhu Sex Magazine, on February 25, 2020 at Otto’s Shrunken Head! From Baer’s invitation for this book launch event:
Letters to the Editor of Cthulhu Sex Magazine (Macabre Ink) is a Lovecraftian tale about the sacrifices needed to create and maintain a cult following. You can try to stave off the madness by buying drinks (we recommend at least one). There will also be books to buy, a performance of excerpts and possibly a visit from Cthulhu itself. Step up, go through the curtain into the back and join the cult.
Additionally, Baer’s poem “Untitled #x” was recently published in the February 2020 issue of The Brooklyn Rail. Also, after accepting Baer’s story “To Chael” for Hell’s Highway: Terrifying Tales of Tormented Travels, editor April Grey picked his brain as to how the shoggoths have guided his writing.
